Obituary of Darryn Senoga-Zake

In Loving Memory of Darryn Senoga-Zake,

Darryn, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, departed from this world all too soon at the age of 30 on October 28, 2023. He leaves a lasting legacy of love, care, and an unwavering commitment to his family and those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Darryn was born on June 14, 1993, in Kassel, Germany, to proud parents Birgit Ulrich and Senoga K. Senoga-Zake. He grew up in a warm and loving home and, from an early age, displayed a remarkable sense of compassion and an innate desire to ensure the happiness of those around him. Darryn's life was a testament to the significance of family bonds, as he was a shining example of a devoted and family-oriented son.

As Darryn journeyed through life, he experienced the profound joy of welcoming a beloved and precious son, Amari-Lucas Senoga-Zake, with Valeria Colon. His dedication to fatherhood was unwavering, and he poured his heart and soul into providing a nurturing and loving environment for his child. Darryn's son will forever carry with him the profound love and guidance bestowed upon him by his father.

Darryn also shared a special connection with his older sister, Suzanne, who tragically passed away in 2012, also from a fatal car accident. Their sibling bond was marked by laughter, shared secrets, and a unique understanding of one another. He was not only a brother but a protective guardian, always there to offer a helping hand and a listening ear. Additionally, Darryn was and will always be a loving memory to his younger sister, Alyice, whom he cherished spending time with. The moments and times he shared with Alyice were priceless, and she will forever be blessed with these memories.

Darryn's love extended far beyond the confines of his immediate family as he touched the lives of many with his caring and gentle nature. His warm smile, willingness to lend a hand, and ability to comfort those in need made him a cherished friend and confidant to many.

In all aspects of his life, Darryn displayed a genuine, unselfish love for others by supporting financially disadvantaged children in Uganda by providing them with the financial support they needed to access education and thereby empower themselves. He had an extraordinary ability to make people feel valued and appreciated. His kindness was a guiding light, a beacon of warmth and compassion that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to have known him.

While Darryn's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. The love and memories he shared with his family and friends will forever be cherished and remembered.

A celebration of Darryn's life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 1pm. A visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, November 10, 2023. We invite all those whose lives were touched by this remarkable man to join us in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the love and joy he brought to the world.

Darryn may have left this world too soon, but his legacy of love, care, and unwavering dedication to his family will endure for generations. In our hearts, he will always be remembered as the loving, caring, and family-oriented soul that he was.

Rest in peace, dear Darryn; you may be physically gone too soon, but your legacy will forever live on in our hearts, and your memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives you touched.
