Obituary of Charles H. Dickson
Charles H. Dickson of Land O’Lakes, Florida, passed away May 11, 2020. He was born in Lewistown, Illinois and was an honorably discharged Army veteran. He was an Electronic Entrepreneur of many trades throughout his lifetime and enjoyed classic cars, Octoberfest parties and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Margie; 13 grandchildren, April and Rick Diden, Casey Krueger, Leah Reynolds, Olivia Hall, Nicholas and Arias Diaz, Shawn Wallace, Tracy and Jennifer Dickson, Jeremy, Jeffrey and Billy Ray. Also surviving are his great-grandchildren, Cheyann Welch, Cody Daniels, Kayla Delashmit, Wyatt Faircloth, Katelynn Dickson, Benjamin, Jackson, Evelyn, Samantha, Zachary, Lane and Wyatt Ray, Alexander Diden, Abraham, Isaac and Daniel Ortiz and great-great grandchildren, Hayden and Dominic Hernandez, Kai Krueger, Bella and Olivia Diaz, Orion Daniels Diaz, Maddison, Kira and Zelda Diaz.
Charles was predeceased by his parents, Max and Emeline (Hoke) Dickson, his sister, Maxine Dickson; brothers, James Dickson; nephew, Jeff Dickson; son, Gary E. Dickson, daughter, Christy Dickson, wives, Evelyn and Elaine Dickson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 18 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church from 9:30-10:25 am with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 am. Burial will take place on Thursday, at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Miami, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The family has entrusted care and services to Loyless Funeral Home.
