Obituary of Barbel Ann Lawson

LAWSON, Barbel Ann, 66 of Springhill, Florida left her earthly home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 11, 2019. She was born in Moultrie, GA and moved to FL in the 1960s. She was retired Medical Malpractice Investigator for the State of Florida. 

She was a strong Christian woman who had an intense love of God and family. She was an avid reader, phenomenal cook,  loved history, and enjoyed listening to gospel music. 

She leaves behind her husband of over 48 years, the love of her life, Henry Lawson; daughter, Alisha (Fred) Lawson-Bowman; son, Bradley Lawson; three sisters, Virginia Prescott, Dorothy (Keith) Woodall, Elizabeth (Charles) Mercer; one brother, Johnny (Melissa) McCoy; three grandchildren, Hannah Lawson, Trace Lawson, Haley Goehler, along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of Barbel’s life will be held at a future date.
