Obituary of Wayne Stanley Johnson

Wayne Johnson, 74, of Wesley Chapel, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of over 48 years, Kathleen “Kathy” Johnson; 2 daughters, Kim (Chris) Koenig of Wesley Chapel and Heather (Earl) Power of Holly Springs, North Carolina; 2 brothers, Dennis “Denny” Johnson of Michigan and Dave (Linda) Johnson of North Carolina. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Gwen and Ben Power and Gabby, Audrey and Jacob Koenig. Wayne moved to Florida 15 years ago from Ypsilanti, Michigan and had worked as a Retail Manager for K-Mart as well as being a valued employee of Loyless Funeral Home. He was an honorably discharged army veteran and enjoyed fishing, reading, music and watching sports. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21 from 6-7 pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. Land O’ Lakes, FL 34639 with a 7 pm service to follow the visitation. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Florida National Cemetery.
