I looked forward to playing golf with Anne because she was always so upbeat and fun to be with. Although her illness returned she still wore a beautiful smile on her face and never complained about anything. It was truly a pleasure to have known such a special lady. I am sorry that I cannot attend Anne's memorial service because I will be out of town. I offer my deepest sympathy to her family. May Anne Rest In Peace.

It is with a heavy heart that I learn of Anne's passing. As Diabetes Educator at JAH, Anne taught me the ropes, always pleasant, kind & knowledgeable. I envied her experience, education & guidance to all the interns that passed through the program.
She was helpful, hard-working & resourceful.
I know that Anne is now at peace with her beloved husband & family in a place paved with gold roads & just imagine when Our Lord welcomes her home.
Deepest sympathy to her family but know she will never be very far away.
Sincerely,
Rosalie Parrillo t

I first met Anne when she started at the Tampa VA. She was a heavy library user, and strongly supported its resources and services. She also insisted that all her interns utilize the librarians as well! I well remember her sense of humor, commitment to nutrition as a vital component of health, and her integrity in all her work. Her collaborative approach to multidisciplinary problem-solving was always deeply appreciated in a sometimes insular and compartmentalized organization. She was a treasure.

Such a beautiful tribute for an amazing woman. Sheila and Sharon, thoughts and prayers for you and your families. We only met for a brief time when you were here caring for your Mom, and the love and warmth was so apparent. I will be away, so sorry to miss the celebration of life. God Bless.

She was my neighbor and a good friend from the start of our friendship. Anne was a fine genuine lady, which I truly enjoyed. I was lucky enough to have Gavin take to me, but first, he took to my son, Mark. But once he took to me, Mark was out.
We would often either go to Mass together or at least meet at Mass. She was one of the strongest ladies I have known. Her strength and determination were unbelievable. She is being truly missed by so many of her friends. May she rest in peace.

Anne was one of a kind. We met through golf and my occasional pet sitting of Gavin. I marveled at her ability to remain positive and caring even in her most difficult times of battling cancer. She always flipped the subject from her health to being supportive and caring through my lows. We shared a special bond with Gavin.
What an amazing lady! I will miss the twinkle in her eye her big smile, and our conversations.
Rest in Peace, my dear. Your battle is over....you are home <3

Anne was a very dear friend and neighbor. We so enjoyed our times with her just visiting, trying to play golf (l0l), going on a short road trip, or just helping her with some issues around her house. She was such a sweetheart always and we will miss her.

All of us wish we could leave a professional legacy like Anne did. Several generations of Dietetic Interns passed through her care and entered into successful professional practice. The quality of her Internship Program not only enhanced the reputation of the Nutrition and Food Service at her hospital, but also became one of the true centers of excellence at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.
Being able to mentor skilled professionals while also having the respect and fondness of those same students was a remarkable achievement.
