Obituary of Margaret E. Geis

GEIS, Margaret Emily (Marge), 94 of Tampa, Fl passed into the arms of our Lord on March 19, 2019.  Marge was born on August 21, 1924 to Bill and Helen Holland in Waldwick, MJ and moved to Tampa, Fl in 1973.  She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and later had a successful career in Real Estate.  She was an inaugural member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church and participated in SMARTS. She had a radiant smile and loved entertaining friends and family.  Family was always most important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She leaves behind a family that has truly learned the values of faith, family and tradition from her.  We will miss her.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank.  Marge is survived by her children and their spouses, Bill Geis (Joyce), Frank  Geis (Mary Ann), Helen Dawson (David) and Bob Geis (Eve); grandchildren: Jennifer Santillan (Edgar), Colin Geis, Ben Geis, Kristen Dawson,  Cara Dawson, Michael Dawson, Jonathan Dawson, Meagan Geis and Sarah Geis; great grandchildren: Jason Crawford, Ryan Crawford, Elise Santillan and “AJ” Santillan; sister: Winifred McCormack (Frank).  A funeral mass will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church 9724 Cross Creek Blvd, Tampa, Fl 33647 on Friday, March 22 at 1:00pm.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in honor of her and will be put towards a memorial gift.  Words of comfort may be expressed at LoylessFuneralHomes.com
