Obituary of Catherine Kearns

KEARNS, Catherine, 83, Lutz, FL passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009. She was born in New York City and moved to FL from Plainview, NY in 1982. She retired as president of Photonews in Bethpage, NY. Catherine was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Ft. Myers and past president of St. Vincent DePaul, Council of Catholic Women. She was preceded in death in 1995 by her husband James. W. Kearns. She is survived by two sons, Tom Kearns of Lutz, FL and Brian Kearns of Massapequa, NY; daughter, Kathleen Douglas and her husband, Robert E. Douglas of Lutz; sister, Theresa Tucciarone and her husband, Gene of York, PA; three grandchildren, Robert Douglas, Jr. and his wife, Teresa, Deborah Murray and her husband, Matthew and David Douglas and his wife, Mercedes and two, great grandchildren, Matthew Bryan Murray, Jr. and Courtney Murray. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 16th at St. Paul Catholic Church.
