Obituary of Robert Asbel

Asbel, Robert, “Bob”, 73, of Immokalee, FL, passed away November 5,2007 in Birmingham, AL. He was born in Greenfield, FL, and worked for the Florida Game Commission from 1960 – 1971. He later worked for the Collier County Sheriff’s Dept. where he retired in 1987. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce; two sons: Robert , Jr and wife Nancy of Felda, FL, Lamar of Prattville, AL; three sisters: Clara of Greenfield, FL, Lena Mae of Bartow, FL, Billie Joe of Port Richey, FL.; 6 grandchildren, Valorie, Brian, Justin, Tyler, Ciera, Brandon, & 2 great-grandchildren, Dylan & Sara. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Loyless Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Fivay Cemetery.
