Obituary of Thomas C. Amick

AMICK, Thomas C., 77, of St. Petersburg, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006. He was born in St. Petersburg, FL and was a retired Major in the U S Air Force. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Peach. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lucille; son, Thomas Scott Amick of Pensacola; daughters, Karen Free of Tierra Verde, FL, Janice Lund of Tampa, FL; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He graduated from St. Pete High School in 1947. He joined the U.S. Air Force after graduation and became a navigator in the B47 & B52 Strategic Bombers. He served in the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict and retired in 1971 as a Major. In retirement he was an avid fly fisherman.
