Obituary of Luis Renato Montenegro

Farewell Dear Luigi

Luis Renato Montenegro of Lakeland, FL passed away July 18th, 2021. He was 47 years old. 

Luis was not a complicated guy. He truly enjoyed his life. He loved his family and friends with all his heart and was a dedicated person to his profession. He served proudly in the U.S. Army as both an active and reserve soldier.  He was an athlete who enjoyed bodybuilding, running and playing football. Luis also dabbled in playing the piano and could actually hold a tune. 

If you had the pleasure of ever meeting him, he was the kind of guy that left you with a good feeling about yourself. His smile and laughter were infectious. The purest of hearts, he was the best of all of us. A true son, brother, uncle and friend in every sense of the word. He cared about you with every part of his being. Always wanting to make you comfortable and at ease. 

Please know that his final hours of his life were filled with joy and happiness. We will miss him for all the days of our lives to come.

Luis is survived by his grandfather, Carlos Rene Montenegro, parents Graciela and Carlos Luis Montenegro, brother Rommel Montenegro, sister Brenda Fripp, brother-in-law John Fripp, sister-in-law Dawn Montenegro, nephews Joshua Montenegro and Ethan Fripp, nieces Amanda Montenegro and Sarah Montenegro.
