Obituary of Lynn Lanzone

Lynn Lanzone (62) of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. She was born in Long Island, New York and was raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she made lifelong friends at Robinson High School. She moved to Ft. Lauderdale where she attended college and met her husband, Tim, and started her family before moving to Land O’ Lakes. Lynn was a Bar Manager at Lake Padgett Estates East where she was known for making a mean margarita and coordinating special gatherings. She enjoyed rooting on her favorite sports teams – Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Lightning and UCF Knights. She also enjoyed traveling and held fond memories of trips with friends and family to Nascar races, tropical islands and New York City.  She also had some hidden talents from her earlier years – synchronized swimmer, model, and excellent bowler. She had a zest for adventure and was the first to jump in line for roller coasters, zip lining and other excursions.

She is preceded in death by her husband (Tim Lanzone), parents (Carmen and Herman “Moe” Kornreich), and several dear friends. She is survived by her longtime boyfriend, Joe Cleary, who she enjoyed the second chapter of life with; her son and daughter-in-law (Tim and Kelly Lanzone); her daughter and son-in-law (Melissa and Steve Moré) and grandchildren Amelia and Hudson; and brother and sister-in-law (Ron and Lyn Kornreich) and family. Lynn loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and they loved their “Nana”.

Lynn had the most incredible giving heart. In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider making a donation to a non-profit in her memory. She would be honored to know she was able to continue impacting others.
