Obituary of I. Maxine Lacedonia
Ida Maxine Lacedonia, 93 of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. She was born on November 1, 1927 in Bonifay, Florida. Maxine was a Christian and enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking and especially loved her family and being a grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Zacker and husband, Terry, Jeanette Whitman, Eva Moniz and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Ritchie Zacker, Navy Commander Curtis Zacker and wife, Jessica, Byron Whitman and wife, Janelle, Christopher Whitman and wife, Ashley, Matthew Whitman, Heather Siberry-Williams and husband, Antti. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Owen, Adelyn, Jacob and Cameron Whitman and Brynn Zacker; sisters-in-law, Norma Clark and Hortense Lott, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Elio Lacedonia on December 24, 2007.
The family will receive friends at Loyless Funeral Home on Monday from 10:30 11:30 am with graveside services being held at 1 o’clock pm at Florida National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Renaissance Lakeshore Villas Ensemble Section for the extraordinary care they gave Maxine throughout her stay there. Their kindness and compassion is greatly appreciated.
