Obituary of Mary Lynne Shurey

Mary Lynne Shurey, 93, of Fallbrook, CA, went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2020.  She was born on May 9, 1927 to the late Charles and Ava Rothgeb in Washington, DC. Lynne was of Christian faith and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wesley Chapel, FL.  Lynne was proud to work for the Department of the Army for the Office of Personnel Management and retired in 1989.  Lynne loves gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and traveling with her husband John and her sister Pat. Lynne is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, John Joseph Shurey.  She is survived by her son John (Natalie), daughters Nancy Shoeps, Deborah (Bobby) Atkins and Ann Marie Fiore, as well as 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members. A funeral service will be take place at 11:00am on January 11, 2020, at Faith Baptist Church, 6300 Oakley Blvd., Wesley Chapel, FL.The family will recieve friends 1 hour prior to the service. Internment will take place after the service at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
